Cara Truitt brings over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, business owner, and community leader in Charlotte, NC.
As Founder & Executive Producer of TEDx Sugar Creek Women, Charlotte Chapter Host of Mic Drop Club, and Education Director for NAWBO Charlotte, she is passionate about amplifying women’s voices and ideas.
Named one of the Top 50 Women to KNOW in North Carolina in 2024, Cara’s dynamic presence and skill in facilitating meaningful conversations make her a sought-after moderator and speaker.
Her diverse background across logistics, creative, nonprofit, and wellness sectors has shaped her into a master collaborator and connector, inspiring others through her story of resilience and her dedication to building inclusive, connected communities. When she’s not speaking or producing an event, you can find her hiking on the greenway or at home in Fort Mill, SC with her husband and two young children.
