The North Carolina Inspectors Challenge (Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Inspector Challenge) is an annual competition and advanced training event for NC Highway Patrol CVE Troopers specializing in commercial vehicle safety.
This premier event focuses on sharpening advanced inspection skills for:
The Challenge goes beyond routine roadside inspections. It is designed to test the ability of inspectors to identify complex safety violations, apply current regulations, and demonstrate technical expertise under competition standards.
This is the only event dedicated to testing, recognizing, and awarding excellence in commercial motor vehicle inspection.
Participants will:
The Grand Champion will advance to represent North Carolina at the national level.
The winner of the North Carolina Inspectors Challenge will advance to compete at:
