2024 Technology and Maintenance Professional 
of the Year Nomination

PURPOSE:

The NCTA Maintenance Professional of the Year Award is presented to the person who is entrusted with the duties and responsibilities of maintenance supervision for his/her company. This award is intended to honor an individual, who in the opinion of their peers is outstanding in their activities and accomplishments in maintenance and maintenance supervision in his/her company and in the State of North Carolina.

PRESENTATION:

The presentation of awards are made during the NCTA Annual Councils Conference, normally in the fall.

SPONSOR:

The NCTA Technology and Maintenance Council will be the sponsor of this award, unless a member company expresses interest. Any member company can serve as sponsor for this award.

ELIGIBILITY FOR NOMINATION:

a) All nominees for the Maintenance Professional of the Year Award must be persons employed in a full-time capacity with a member company in the State of North Carolina, performing maintenance or maintenance supervisor activities.

b) Nominees must be members in good standing of the NCTA Technology & Maintenance Council.

c) A Maintenance Professional of the Year winners may be nominated again after five (5) years.

d) Nomination for the Maintenance Professional of the Year Award may be made by any person.

e) As a condition of being nominated, the nominees and the company in which they are employed must grant the North Carolina Trucking Association “Awards Committee” complete and full authority to investigate their records and any pertinent company records to determine that all qualifications are met. In turn, the "Award Committee" guarantees to hold the results of the investigation in strict confidence.

f) Nominations which are unsuccessful may be re-submitted the following year, or any year thereafter, by bringing the information required for the nomination up-to-date at the time of re-submission.
