The NCTA Technology & Maintenance Council is excited to host our upcoming Tech Night focused on Brake Systems (Disc & Drum), with training led by industry experts from Bendix.

This session is designed to deliver practical, hands-on knowledge for technicians and maintenance leaders responsible for keeping fleets safe, compliant, and road-ready.

Whether you’re troubleshooting brake performance concerns in the shop or managing brake system reliability across your fleet, this training will provide real-world insight into disc and drum brake components, system operation, inspection procedures, and common failure points—helping improve safety, reduce downtime, and extend component life.

Brake systems are one of the most critical safety components on any vehicle. Proper inspection, maintenance, and diagnostics are essential to ensuring compliance, preventing out-of-service violations, and maintaining optimal stopping performance.
