ABS/EBS Diagnostics

The NCTA Technology & Maintenance Council is excited to host our upcoming Tech Night focused on ABS/EBS Diagnostics, with training led by industry experts from ZF Group.

This session is designed to deliver practical, diagnostic-driven knowledge for technicians and maintenance leaders responsible for keeping fleets safe, compliant, and road-ready.

Whether you’re troubleshooting active fault codes in the shop or managing electronic brake system reliability across your fleet, this training will provide real-world insight into ABS and EBS components, system communication, diagnostic procedures, and common failure points—helping improve safety, reduce downtime, and prevent unnecessary parts replacement.

Modern brake systems rely heavily on electronic controls and data communication. Proper diagnostics, accurate fault interpretation, and systematic troubleshooting are essential to ensuring compliance, preventing out-of-service violations, and maintaining optimal braking performance.
